Office Standard Installation Guide

Follow this guide to easily install and activate Microsoft Office Standard on your PC.

Please note:
Microsoft support cannot assist with product keys that were not purchased directly from Microsoft.

Step 1, Remove Older Office Versions

Before starting the installation, we strongly recommend uninstalling older Office versions from your computer.

This reduces the risk of installation or activation issues.

How to uninstall programs on Windows:

  • Open Control Panel
  • Select “Programs and Features”
  • Remove older Microsoft Office versions

Step 2, Find Your Product Key

Your product key is automatically sent to your email address after purchase.

Please check:

  • Inbox
  • Spam folder
  • Promotions tab (Gmail)

You can also search for:

  • DigiMart
  • Office 2024
  • Product Key

Step 3, Download Office

Check below for installation link. Download your office package for your device and wait for the download to finish.

If the download comes as a ZIP file:

  • Right click the file
  • Select “Extract All”
  • Open the extracted folder

Antivirus Warning During Download

Some antivirus programs may temporarily block .exe installation files downloaded from the internet.

This is normal behavior for installation files. If this happens then temporarily disable your antivirus

Step 4, Start the Installation

Open your Downloads folder.

Double click the Office installation file.

If Windows asks for permission:

  • Click “Yes”

If Microsoft Defender SmartScreen appears:

  • Click “More info”
  • Select “Run anyway”

This is normal for installation files downloaded from the internet.

Windows S Mode

If your computer is using Windows S Mode:

  • You may need to disable S Mode before the installation can continue
  • Follow the instructions shown by Windows

During Installation

  • Select your preferred language
  • Choose 32-bit or 64-bit installation
  • Keep your computer connected to the internet
  • Wait until the installation finishes completely

Do not close the installer during the process.

Step 5, Activate Office Standard

Once the installation is complete:

  • Open Word or Excel

Wait for the activation window to appear.

Inside Word:

  • Click “Account” in the lower left corner
  • Select “Change Product Key”

Enter the product key from your delivery email.

Your product key is automatically sent after purchase.

Please check:

  • Inbox
  • Spam folder
  • Promotions tab

If the Product Key Option Does Not Appear

  • Click “Use another account”
  • Select “Enter a product key instead”

If you do not see the “Account” section:

  • Click “File”
  • Then select “Account”

Step 6, Restart and Completion

After entering the product key:

  • Completely close Word
  • Wait a few seconds
  • Open Word again

Complete the activation steps shown on screen.

Office is now installed and activated.

You are ready to start using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Office applications.

Troubleshooting

  • Office Does Not Activate

    Please make sure:

    Correct Office version was installed

    Older Office versions were removed

    The product key was entered correctly

    Your internet connection is stable

  • Installation Does Not Start

    Try:

    Right clicking the installation file
    Selecting “Run as administrator”

    Also check if your antivirus software is blocking the installer.

  • Office Shows “Unlicensed Product”

    This is usually caused by:

    Wrong Office version installed

    Older Office versions still remaining on the computer
    Activation not completed correctly

  • About the Installation File

    The installer we provide is a preconfigured setup file.

    It downloads Office directly from Microsoft’s servers and simplifies the installation process.
